Malaysia confiscates Swatch's Pride Collection watches over 'LGBT connotations'

Malaysian authorities raided Swatch stores and seized 164 watches from its Pride Collection, claiming they "bore LGBT connotations." The watches come in six colors matching those on the gay pride flag and have two rainbow loops on their straps. Malaysia criminalizes same-sex relationships, and the seizure has been criticized by gay rights group Jejaka for showing "a deeply unsettling level of intolerance." Swatch has resumed selling the watches and is looking into the seizure.
