A man searching a carrot field in Switzerland with a metal detector discovered a large ornate jewelry set from the Bronze Age, along with various other items including teeth from a bear, beaver, and shark. The discovery, dating back to about 1500 B.C., also included rings, gold spirals, and over 100 amber beads. Experts believe the objects may have been worn as amulets due to their special, protective, or healing effects. The artifacts will be restored and exhibited in the Museum of Archaeology in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.
