Maine town attracts meteorite hunters with $25,000 reward.

Meteorite hunters are flocking to the small town of Waite, Maine, in search of pieces of a meteor that fell to Earth near the Canadian border. The Maine Mineral and Gem Museum has offered a $25,000 bounty for any piece that weighs a little more than two pounds. However, the search may not be easy as the town is heavily forested and much of it is privately owned. The potential landing field for meteorites also includes part of New Brunswick near the town of Canoose.
