Massive Ground Beef Recall Over E. Coli Concerns

Wolverine Packing Co. is recalling 167,277 pounds of ground beef due to potential E. coli contamination, following reports of illnesses in Minnesota. The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall, urging restaurants to discard or return the affected products. The contamination was identified after 15 people fell ill, with symptoms linked to the company's products. Wolverine Packing Co. is cooperating with authorities and conducting an internal audit to ensure safety standards. This is not the first recall for the company, which previously recalled 1.8 million pounds of beef in 2014.
