"Northrop Grumman Enhances Cygnus with Upgrades"

Northrop Grumman is planning upgrades for its Cygnus cargo vehicle, including increased payload capacity and the ability to dock to a station instead of being berthed by a robotic arm. The upgraded version of Cygnus will be able to carry up to 5,000 kilograms of pressurized cargo to the International Space Station (ISS). The company is also exploring the use of Cygnus for reboosting the orbit of the ISS and potentially other space stations. Additionally, Northrop Grumman is leveraging Cygnus for its proposed commercial space station and is in discussions with other companies working on commercial space stations to offer Cygnus services.
