NASA is seeking four individuals to participate in a year-long simulated Mars habitat experience in Houston, Texas, as part of the Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog (CHAPEA) program. Applicants must be healthy US citizens aged 30 to 55 with science, military, or piloting experience, and are required to undergo rigorous screening processes. The selected individuals will live in a 3D printed habitat, mimicking conditions on Mars, and will be involved in activities such as growing vegetables, simulating "Marswalks," and conducting science experiments.
