The inaugural launch of the Vulcan Centaur rocket on December 24 will include the remains and DNA samples of 338 people, including some members of the original "Star Trek" TV series. Celestis Inc., a Texas-based company specializing in space memorials, will attach minuscule capsules containing the remains to the rocket. The launch will also carry a lunar lander to conduct studies of the moon, with 70 capsules accompanying it to the moon's surface. The rocket will then continue its course, orbiting around the sun. The cost for a space memorial can run up to $12,995.
