Europa's Core May Not Be Fully Formed, Study Finds.

A new study suggests that Jupiter's ocean moon, Europa, may not have a fully formed metallic core, if it has one at all. Europa's interior may have evolved differently than previously thought due to its formation at much colder temperatures than Earth. The formation of a metallic core would help make Europa more habitable, and NASA's planned Europa Clipper mission may help scan the Jovian moon's gravity to improve our understanding of its interior.
