"Discovery: NGC 2403 XMM4 Identified as Super-Eddington Neutron Star"

Astronomers have studied NGC 2403 XMM4, an ultraluminous X-ray source, and found that it is a neutron star accreting at super-Eddington rates based on data from various space telescopes. Despite its X-ray luminosity being below the ultraluminous threshold, its spectral behavior is consistent with ultraluminous X-ray sources. The findings suggest that NGC 2403 XMM4 is the third super-Eddington neutron star detected in NGC 2403, with characteristics indicative of super-Eddington accretion.
