Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2023: Stunning Shortlisted Entries

The Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, organized by the Royal Observatory Greenwich, has released the shortlist selection from over 4,000 entries by photographers from 64 countries. The competition, now in its 15th year, features nine main categories and two special prizes. The overall winner will receive a £10,000 prize. Some of the breathtaking images include the Milky Way behind a graffiti of Pandora, the Northern Lights over the Arctic Henge, and the Sun showing the transit of the China Space Station.
