China aims for crewed lunar landing and space station expansion by 2030.

China's human spaceflight agency aims to land astronauts on the moon before 2030, with plans for a new generation manned carrier rocket, crew spacecraft, lunar lander, moon suit, and other spaceflight products. The country is also developing a lunar crew rover and expanding its Wenchang spaceport. The short-term stay on the moon is linked to a longer-term project, the International Lunar Research Station, which aims to construct a permanent, initially robotic moon base in the 2030s.
