Trump Appoints Fracking CEO Chris Wright as Energy Secretary

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Chris Wright, a Denver-based oil executive and vocal critic of climate change policies, to lead the Energy Department. Wright, if confirmed, would oppose established climate science and work to reverse funding for climate initiatives from the Biden administration. He will also join the National Energy Council to promote U.S. energy dominance through deregulation and innovation.
