Democratic Virginia Rep. Jennifer Wexton reveals Parkinson's diagnosis

Rep. Jennifer Wexton of Virginia has announced that she has Parkinson’s disease, a progressive neurological condition that affects the nervous system and can include tremors, slowed movement, and rigid muscles, among other symptoms. Despite the onset of some symptoms, Wexton said she is doing well and feeling good. She has no plans to leave public life and will continue to focus on her congressional duties while also raising awareness about Parkinson’s disease.
