"Majority of Americans Acknowledge Climate Crisis Impact, Including Floridians: Polls"

A new poll conducted by the Pew Research Center reveals that 71% of Americans believe the climate crisis is currently causing harm to people in the US, while nearly two-thirds think that these harmful impacts will worsen over their lifetimes. The survey also found that Americans have a negative perception of how climate change is affecting the nation. Partisan divisions play a significant role in people's perceptions, with 86% of Democrats expecting negative climate impacts to worsen during their lifetime compared to only 37% of Republicans. Additionally, the poll shows that where people live and their age also influence their views on climate change, with a majority of respondents expecting coastal Florida, Southern California, and the Southwest to become worse places to live due to climate change.
