The largest clean energy infrastructure project in US history, Pattern Energy's SunZia Transmission Project, has broken ground in Corona, New Mexico. The project aims to create a 550-mile transmission line stretching from central New Mexico to central Arizona, carrying up to 4.5 gigawatts of clean energy. It is expected to bring $20 billion into the economy, create over 2,000 jobs during construction, and help meet President Biden's goal of 100% clean electricity by 2035.
