Outbreak of Mosquito-Borne Virus Hits Michigan Counties

Two residents from Macomb and Oakland counties in Southeast Michigan have tested positive for the mosquito-borne Jamestown Canyon virus, marking the first identified human cases of the virus in the state this year and potentially the first cases nationally, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
