Blackstone's AI Diabetes Program Cuts Costs and Improves Care

Cedar Gate Technologies has developed an AI-based solution, Cedar Gate Analytics, that can predict diabetes with 80% accuracy. The platform evaluates the data of more than 1.2 million patients in its database within a 12-month period. Cedar Gate Analytics is intended for use by medical professionals to identify patients who are at risk of developing diabetes. The company's broader goal is to shift to a new health care model centered on "value-based care" rather than "fee-for-service." Cedar Gate plans to release similar AI models focused on detecting other chronic diseases.
