Arizona's Super Bloom causing severe allergies.

Tucson is experiencing a "super bloom" of saguaros this year, thanks to well-spaced winter rains and cool nights that kept the cacti hydrated well into spring. The saguaros are now maturing into juicy fruit, and the Foothill Palo Verdes are also having a wonderful year. The increase in moisture and blooms could be a result of climate change, but Tucsonans are happy for any rain they can get. Expect to see vibrant red fruit around the fourth of July.
