"Raw Farm Cheese Linked to Multi-State E. coli Outbreak"

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reported a multistate E. coli outbreak linked to raw milk cheese, with ten people, including two in Utah, falling ill. Four individuals have been hospitalized, and one developed a serious condition causing kidney failure. The CDC has advised against consuming RAW FARM brand raw cheddar cheese and is currently investigating the outbreak. RAW FARM is cooperating with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for product recall. Raw milk products can carry dangerous bacteria, and exposure to Shiga toxin-producing E. coli can lead to severe symptoms including cramps, bloody diarrhea, and kidney failure.
