Nationwide Cucumber Recall Due to Salmonella Outbreak

A Salmonella outbreak linked to cucumbers grown by Agrotato, S.A. de C.V. in Sonora, Mexico, has led to a recall by SunFed Produce, LLC. The outbreak has affected 68 people across 19 U.S. states, with 18 hospitalizations reported. Consumers are advised to discard or return cucumbers labeled "SunFed Mexico" purchased between October 12 and November 26, 2024, and to sanitize any surfaces that may have come into contact with the contaminated produce. The FDA is working with importers to manage the situation.
