12-hour Power Outage Planned for Willis, Texas for Power Line Upgrades

Entergy Texas is planning a power outage for up to 12 hours in the Willis area to complete upgrades to power lines, which will improve system reliability and provide additional capacity to support growth in the community. The outage may last shorter than announced, but residents near Longstreet and Calvary roads and along a portion of Texas 75 will be affected. The energy company said it needed to move forward with the project before the summer when the demand for electricity is high.
