The guidance also includes provisions to deter companies from relying on Chinese supply chains. To qualify for the maximum credit, homes must meet Department of Energy Zero Energy Ready Home requirements, which include specific insulation, duct work, appliances, and other features that make the home highly energy efficient. Third-party certification is required to verify compliance with these requirements.
