MotorTrend CEO doubts Tesla can keep Cybertruck price under $75k.

According to new data from MotorTrend, 78% of active car shoppers are "very interested" in EVs, with nearly 50% saying they will definitely or probably buy an electric or hybrid vehicle in the next five years. The most popular EV brand searched on MotorTrend.com over the past year is Rivian, followed by Tesla and Lucid. The upcoming Tesla Cybertruck is generating interest, but MotorTrend CEO believes the company would be "lucky" to keep the price at $75,000, given competition from other EV pickups like the Rivian R1T, Ford F-150 Lightning, Chevrolet Silverado EV, and Ram 1500 REV EV.
