Indian Lawmaker Charged with Sexual Harassment by Female Wrestlers
Indian police have charged Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the chief of the country's wrestling federation and a member of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with sexual harassment and criminal intimidation following complaints made by female wrestlers. Singh has denied all allegations against him. The wrestlers had protested against the lack of action in April and were briefly detained by police in New Delhi as they cleared the site the following month.
