Wrestlers demand arrest in sexual abuse case

Indian police will investigate allegations of sexual harassment against the president of the Wrestling Federation of India, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, made by female athletes who are holding a sit-in protest near the parliament building in New Delhi. The wrestlers are also accusing the federation of mishandling funds and mismanagement. Singh denies the allegations. The sports ministry had assured a probe into the allegations in January, but the wrestlers resumed their protest last week as the ministry did not act on the report submitted by an inquiry committee.
