Emperor Penguin Rescued After 2,000-Mile Journey to Australia
A malnourished emperor penguin was found over 2,000 miles from its Antarctic home on a beach in Denmark, Western Australia. The penguin, the first of its species known to reach Australia, is being cared for by wildlife expert Carol Biddulph. Weighing only half of a healthy male's weight, the penguin is undergoing rehabilitation, with future release options still under consideration.
