Sweden and Finland Urge Citizens to Prepare for Potential Conflict
Sweden and Finland, recent NATO members, have issued updated guidance to their citizens on how to prepare for war and other crises, amid heightened tensions due to the Ukraine conflict. The guidance includes stockpiling essentials like water, diapers, and medication, and offers advice on dealing with power cuts, communication outages, and extreme weather. Sweden's updated brochure, distributed to five million households, emphasizes war preparedness and includes new advice on evacuation and crisis management. Finland has also released similar crisis guidance, following similar actions by Norway and Denmark.
