Poland's Military Maneuvers: 10,000 Troops Mobilized to Belarus Border
Poland is planning to deploy around 10,000 troops to its eastern border with Belarus due to concerns over the presence of Wagner forces in the region. The move comes after alleged violations of Polish airspace by Belarusian military aircraft. The Polish Defense Minister stated that 4,000 soldiers will directly support the border guard, while the remaining 6,000 will be in reserve. Russia has also discussed plans to build up its forces on its western borders, citing increasing militarization in Poland. Lithuania has also strengthened its border in response to the threat from Wagner fighters.
