The total number of active drilling rigs in the United States fell by 7 this week, with the number of active oil rigs plunging to their lowest level since January 2022. The total rig count is now 457 fewer than at the beginning of 2019. Crude oil production levels in the United States remained steady at 13.2 million bpd, the highest ever recorded.
