Southern Minnesota Gets a New Area Code: 924

Minnesota has introduced a new area code, 326, to meet the increasing demand for telephone numbers. The new code will be added to the existing 651 area code, which covers the eastern part of the state, including the Twin Cities. The change will not affect existing telephone numbers, but new numbers issued in the affected counties will have the new area code.
