A senior staff member at France's Élysée Palace, Thomas M, is set to stand trial over the alleged theft of valuable tableware, including Baccarat glasses and Sèvres porcelain, with items found in his possession and online. The theft, involving around 100 objects worth up to €40,000, is linked to falsified records and planned further thefts. The trial is scheduled for February, and other individuals are also implicated.
