Lahaina Reopens to Property Owners and Renters, Escorted Visits Begin
Maui County officials are implementing a zone and pass system to allow property owners and renters affected by the Lahaina wildfire to re-enter the disaster area starting on September 25. Passholders will be accompanied by volunteers and county employees on supervised visits to search for personal belongings and grieve.
