A Swedish study of nearly 150,000 individuals suggests that ADHD medication is associated with a significant reduction in the risk of suicidal behaviors, substance misuse, transport accidents, and criminality, highlighting potential benefits beyond core symptom management. Although not a randomized trial, the findings support the value of treatment in improving various life outcomes for people with ADHD.
