
SpaceX Set to Launch Australian Telecom Satellite from Florida Today
SpaceX is set to launch the Optus-X satellite for Australian telecom company Optus from Florida's Kennedy Space Center today, using a Falcon 9 rocket. The launch window opens at 4:29 p.m. EST, and the first stage of the rocket is expected to land on the droneship "A Shortfall of Gravitas" in the Atlantic Ocean. This mission marks the 16th launch for this particular booster, which has primarily been used for deploying Starlink satellites. The Optus-X satellite will be delivered to geosynchronous transfer orbit.
