Space scientist Dr. Suvendu Patnaik debunked misconceptions surrounding the upcoming lunar eclipse, clarifying that the moon's disk will only be about six percent covered and can be observed with the naked eye. He emphasized that there is no scientific basis for any restrictions during the eclipse and that people can carry on with their normal activities. Patnaik also mentioned that the next lunar eclipse visible from India is scheduled for September 7, 2025, and none of the four eclipses in 2024 will be visible from India.
