Richard Bradley Jr, an alleged serial killer in Washington state, has been charged with four murders after luring his victims with the promise of buried treasure. A man from West Hartford, Alexandre Henrique Costa-Mota, has been indicted on charges of participating in a multi-state scheme to defraud Home Depot of nearly $300,000. Costa-Mota allegedly executed non-receipted return fraud schemes at over two dozen Home Depot stores, primarily in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, but also in several other states. He would enter the stores dressed as a contractor, collect Anderson doors, and make non-receipted returns for store credit. Costa-Mota is accused of receiving approximately 370 fraudulent store credits, valued at $297,332. He has been charged with wire fraud and conspiracy.
