"Students from Sault Ste. Marie to Send Experiment into Space"
A group of middle and high school students from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, are set to send their experiment to the International Space Station as part of SpaceX's 30th resupply mission. The experiment, which aims to study cellular respiration yeast and Bermuda grass in microgravity, was developed after the students won a space camp competition in 2022. The launch is scheduled for Thursday, March 21, and the students and their families have raised enough money to attend the event at Cape Canaveral.
