"Tragic Discovery: Missing Hiker's Body Found on Mt. Baldy After Winter Trek"
The body of 22-year-old hiker Lifei “Ada” Huang, who went missing during a solo trek on Mount Baldy amid powerful winter storms, has been found after a weeklong search-and-rescue effort hampered by dangerous weather conditions. Despite extensive search efforts and a tip from a citizen flying a drone, the rescue teams were unable to reach the area where Huang was believed to be due to the treacherous mountain conditions. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has warned that the heavy snowfall has made the mountain highly dangerous for hikers, with limited resources available for rescue operations.
