"Recovery of Missing Mt. Baldy Hiker's Body"

The body of 22-year-old hiker Lifei Huang, who went missing on Mt. Baldy on Feb. 4, 2024, was recovered by a sheriff’s department air rescue aircraft on Sunday morning after a citizen spotted her location from a drone. Despite search and rescue efforts, crews were unable to reach her due to unsafe conditions. The cause of her death has not been released.
