Indian Air Force reports delays in Russian arms deliveries due to Ukraine conflict.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has said that Russia is unable to fulfill its arms delivery commitments to India due to the war in Ukraine, potentially straining the relationship between the two countries. The admission, the first official confirmation by Indian authorities, comes amid rumors and reports in local media suggesting shortcomings in Russian capacity. India has strong ties with Moscow dating back to the Cold War and remains heavily dependent on the Kremlin for its military equipment. The biggest ongoing delivery is the S-400 Triumf air defense system units India bought in 2018 for $5.4 billion.
