AMD fixes power connector issue on RX 7600 reference design.

AMD will fix the reference design of its upcoming Radeon RX 7600 graphics card to support all power cables before its market release. The current design has issues with some 6+2-pin cables not fully inserting into the card due to the backplate design. This issue was discovered by reviewers, but since the design is not yet available for sale, there is no worry that anyone else will have issues with their cables. AMD expects the fixed reference design to be available in the coming weeks.

RTX 4060 Ti Launch Day Reception Disappoints with Low Demand Compared to RTX 4070 Series

The RTX 4060 Ti and RX 7600 GPUs have reportedly received a poor reception on their launch day on MindFactory, with only around 30 units of each sold in the first 12-14 hours. This is in contrast to the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070, which sold around 400-450 and 315 units respectively. The slow sales are likely due to the lack of significant generational improvements in the RTX 4060 Ti and RX 7600, and it remains to be seen if this trend will continue.

The AMD RX 7600 and Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti graphics cards were launched within a day of each other, with the former priced at $270 and the latter at $400. While the RTX 4060 Ti outperforms the RX 7600 in terms of raw performance, the $130 price difference puts it in a different league. The RX 7600 offers a decent generational uplift while keeping the price reasonable, making it a good option for budget-conscious gamers looking for a solid 1080p gaming build. However, if performance is a top priority, the RTX 4060 Ti or other GPUs from previous and current generations may be a better choice.
