International Allies Boost Ukraine's Defense with Advanced Drone and Anti-Drone Technology
Ukraine's allies in Europe, including Germany and Norway, are sending new unmanned aerial systems and counter-drone equipment to support Ukraine in its ongoing conflict with Russia. German weapons maker Rheinmetall is set to deliver its LUNA NG reconnaissance drone, part of a military aid package, which can remain airborne for over twelve hours and has a datalink range of up to 300 kilometers. Additionally, Ukraine will receive CORTEX Typhon counter-UAS systems from Norway's Kongsberg, designed to counter a wide range of UAV threats. The deliveries are part of the efforts by international partners to provide critical capabilities to Ukraine through the International Fund for Ukraine.
