Jodie Comer Takes Home First Tony Award for 'Prima Facie'
Jodie Comer, best known for her role in Killing Eve, won the Tony Award for best lead actress in a play for her first ever performance on a professional stage in Suzie Miller's critically acclaimed drama, Prima Facie. Comer's one-woman depiction of Tessa, a lawyer defending men accused of sexual assault, received high praise from critics. The competition was fierce this year, but Comer's performance was called a tour de force. She will continue her role in Prima Facie through July 2.
