
Emma Stone's BAFTAs Triumph: Tears, Laughter, and a Custom Peach Gown
Emma Stone thanked her mother and screenwriter Tony McNamara for her leading actress BAFTA win for "Poor Things," also expressing gratitude to her dialect coach and fellow cast and crew. Stone, who also produced the film, plays a Frankenstein-like character in the movie. This is her second BAFTA win, and she is also nominated for an Oscar. "Poor Things" was the second most-nominated film at the BAFTAs and has earned 11 Oscar nominations overall.
