Cynthia Erivo lands lead role in Prima Facie film adaptation.

Broadway's Prima Facie, written by Suzie Miller, will be adapted into a film starring Tony winner Cynthia Erivo. The play follows a defense lawyer who works her way up in the legal field and often defends men accused of sexual assault. Erivo will play the lead role, which is currently being portrayed by Jodie Comer on Broadway. Miller will adapt her work into a screenplay, with Susanna White directing. The film will be produced by Participant and Bunya Productions.
