White House Honors Young Advocates for Change and Community Improvement

16-year-old twins Brooke and Breanna Bennett from Alabama will be honored at the White House for their efforts to end period poverty. The sisters successfully advocated for a law that provides free period products to low-income schools in the state. They were named Period Heroes by Always and Walmart and have donated thousands of pads through their organization, Women in Training.
