The latest update for GTA 5, titled "The Chop Shop," introduces exclusive features for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 players, including a new business called the Salvage Yard, multi-part robberies, a Tow Truck Service, and new Awards and Career Progress Challenges. Other features include the addition of animals in GTA Online, exclusive vehicle upgrades, and a Vehicle Organization section in the Interaction Menu. Xbox One players also gain access to the previously unavailable Los Santos Car Meet specification service. The update also brings new vehicles, a new weapon, cosmetics, ambient animals, daily challenges, and various fixes and improvements.

The original Pokémon Trading Card Game Online will be removed from app stores and the Pokémon website on June 5th, 2023, just before the launch of the new Pokémon Trading Card Game Live on June 8th. Players can still migrate their account information to the new game after the sunset period, but should open any unopened content and export any decks they wish to save before the shutdown.

The Pokémon Company is moving its online trading card game ecosystem to its new app, Pokémon Trading Card Game Live, on June 8, which means players of the original app, Pokémon Trading Card Game Online, will have to make the switch as the app is being completely removed from digital storefronts the same week. The new app has been in beta since November, and players who log in between now and launch day will receive commemorative accessories. However, the new app has come under fire for drawbacks compared to the old one, including a loss of in-game currency when transferring and a general lack of feature parity.

WB Games has announced a new Harry Potter game, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, which is a fast-paced, competitive multiplayer game that will be available on PC and consoles. The game has been developed by Unbroken Studios and is a standalone Quidditch experience that engages players in the sport of Quidditch and other broomstick adventures alongside friends in a competitive, multiplayer setting. The game is not a direct adaptation of any of the existing Harry Potter books or films, and J.K. Rowling was not involved in its creation. WB Games is accepting signups for "limited" playtests, and the game does not have a release date yet.

Gran Turismo 7's latest Daily Races include a one-make race for a classic Japanese performance car, a five-lap race around Suzuka in the GT4-like Gr.4 category, and a 15-lap race around Road Atlanta in the Gr.3 cars. Players will need to fit Racing Hard tires to their cars for the mandatory tire in Race C, as the tire wear multiplier is 6x. The next set of Daily Races will arrive on April 24.

Pennsylvania Treasury is holding an online auction on April 12 and 13 to sell some of the unclaimed property in its vault, including gold and silver bars, gold coins, Morgan dollars, and various comic books and magazines. The auction is being held to make room for incoming items. Every piece of unclaimed property is held for at least three years, and auction proceeds remain available for the owner to claim at any time. Military decorations and memorabilia are never auctioned and remain in the vault for safekeeping until a veteran or their family is found.

The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has proposed a new rule that would require companies with customers on recurring payment programs to offer easy online cancellation. The proposal aims to prevent companies from tricking customers into paying for subscriptions they no longer want or didn’t sign up for in the first place. The rule would affect multiple types of subscription services, from cosmetics and newspapers to gym memberships. Companies who fail to comply would be subject to civil penalties of $50,000 per violation.
