Toxic incidents plague East Palestine: Contaminated soil and train derailment lead to health concerns.

A truck carrying contaminated soil from the East Palestine derailment overturned, spilling an estimated 20,000 pounds of soil onto a roadway in Columbiana County. The spill was contained and is not a threat to nearby waterways, and the driver sustained minor injuries. So far, 11.3 million gallons of liquid wastewater and nearly 20,000 tons of soil have been hauled out of East Palestine.
