A grandfather and his three-year-old grandson discovered a dinosaur footprint at Irchester Country Park in Northamptonshire, believed to belong to a 20ft long Megalosaurus. The Natural History Museum confirmed the find, marking the first dinosaur footprints identified in the area. The park plans to display the footprint publicly.

Princess Anne visited Northamptonshire and met with the Off the Streets knife crime community group, where she was shown a knife amnesty bin and a bleed control kit.
