Alaska Airlines is expanding its flight network from Portland (PDX) in 2026 by adding four new non-stop routes to Baltimore, St. Louis, Philadelphia, and Idaho Falls, along with increased flights to Newark and Santa Rosa, as part of a broader expansion including new routes from Seattle and San Diego.
American Airlines has launched non-stop flights from Miami International Airport to Governor’s Harbour, Bahamas, with services operating twice a week on Embraer E175 aircraft. Avelo Airlines has launched exclusive non-stop flights from Rochester's Frederick Douglass — Greater Rochester International Airport to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina's Research Triangle. The airline will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, and is the only airline with non-stop service between the two airports. Monroe County Executive Adam Bello said that this is the first nonstop service to North Carolina in decades.

The airline is also bringing back “summer seasonal” flights to Jacksonville and Providence.
